Log timer

To start logging time, press play button on the right side. Once the timer starts, you can pause it using pause button or reset it using c-button.

Log timer button is used to save the current timer value with 1 minute precision.

Log work

Clicking on the Log work button will open the dialog where you can see the input fields which should be filled to log time.

To log time for a single day, provide time spent and check "Single day" option.

To log time for multiple days, provide time spent, check "Multiple days" option and choose logging strategy - spread or repeat.

Repeat

  • log the same amount of time on each day between chosen dates (Saturdays and Sundays excluded).

Spread

  • the amount of time you specified will be divided by the number of days between chosen dates (Saturdays and Sundays excluded) and the resulting amount will be logged on each day (again, excluding weekends) after rounding up to minutes.

Description field is optional.

Basic info

eZee Team Spirit has 3 main functionalities:

  • Collectors → collect or revoke points based on special events,

  • calculate points per user and per project, calculate statistics and summaries - it is done every hour,

  • show statistics and summaries.

Points for finishing issues

Info

You can also get points when you finish your issue. All assigness from issue history will get points.

You will get more points for resolving more difficult issues (having more story points).

You will loose points when your issue will be reopened.

There is not any instruction on how to close an issue. Do it as always.

This functionality requires workflow configuration.

Workflow configuration

This action can add eZee Team Spirit functionalities into your workflows.

This is the first action to do by the Project administrator or Jira administrator

  1. Go to ‘Project settings’.

  2. Click ‘Workflows’.

  3. Choose ‘Edit’ action.

  4. You can change to ‘Diagram’ view.

  5. For each transitions, you can add functionality to add or remove eZee Team Spirit points. Choose transition and click it. You should see a similar screen:

  6. Click ‘Validators’ and next ‘Add validator’.

  7. Now you can add functionality to collect or revoke points.

  8. Choose an option and click ‘Add’

  9. Click ‘Publish draft’ over the workflow diagram. After that choose whether you want backup previous version and click ‘Publish’.
